Today I received my staging information and booked my fight for it, thus making it official! It feels more real now for some reason, since I actually have the flight documents in my hand. After booking that info, I had to fill out some more paperwork and take an online security quiz, and now I'm all set! My flight leaves for Miami early on February 7th. I'll check in later that evening, and then we have official staging on the 8th. Finally, at 11:25pm on the 8th I will be on my way to Paraguay!!! AHHHH!
Looking at my calendar, I am realizing how little time left in the states I have. Every weekend is booked with various reunions/festivities, and the week days are quickly filling up as well. Between all my gatherings and packing (which is incredibly difficult to do for 2 years, by the way), I have a feeling my last few weeks in the states will fly by.
